WHAT IS LASER SKIN RESURFACING?

Laser skin resurfacing, also know as a laser peel, laser vaporization and lasabrasion, can reduce facial wrinkles, scars and blemishes. Newer laser technologies give your plastic surgeon a new level of control in laser surfacing, permitting extreme precision, especially in delicate areas.

HOW DOES LASER SKIN RESURFACING WORK?

It's all about using beams of light. Your surgeon uses the laser to send short, concentrated pulsating beams of light at irregular skin. This removes unwanted, damaged skin in a very precise manner one layer at a time.

Laser skin resurfacing's targeted approach means there are fewer problems with hypopigmentation, or a lightening of skin for procedures such as laser acne scar removal.

The laser beam used in laser resurfacing will remove your outer layer of skin, called the epidermis. It simultaneously heats the underlying skin,called the dermis. This action works to stimulate growth of new collagen fibers. As the treated area heals, the new skin that forms is smoother and firmer.

A noninvasive permanent hair reduction for unwanted hair on the face, back, legs, bikini line or any other body area. Five treatments at our Sculptura Clinic in 6-week intervals are recommended.

PHOTOREJUVENATION

A non-ablative skin rejuvenation treatment using (AFT) Advanced Florescent Technology. This laser treatment is used to help correct skin conditions such as telangiectasia (broken capillaries), rosacea, hemangiomas and pigmented lesions due to sun damage and seborrheic keratoses. This procedure can reduce brown spots, freckles and stains and can also smooth roughly textured skin. Stimulates cell turnover and promotes collagen renewal. Recommend four to six treatments in 4-week intervals.

PIXEL SKIN RESURFACING

Pixel laser skin resurfacing improves skin texture and tone, smoothes wrinkles and diminishes brown spots. This procedure uses micro-thermal treatments which target small zones of the skin, resulting in a more youthful appearance with little downtime. Three treatments in 4-week intervals are recommended.

LASER SKIN TREATMENT
